Swedish Massage
Traditional and ever popular, following gentle skin brushing, this treatment uses kneading, gentle squeezing and soothing effleurage strokes to create a wonderful full body massage experience. Using warmed oils to create a sense of wellness and muscle cleansing, your system will benefit from increased nourishment brought about by stimulated blood and nutrient flow.

Sports
I will help you to return to fitness with this massage, structured to deal with tension and specific conditions that can hinder the performance of the athlete. Target tissues may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, skin, joints and connective tissues including the lymphatic system. Stretching is used as a tool to increase the flexibility of muscle and fascia. I may use oil or not, depending on the individual's needs.

Hot Stones Massage
Hot Stones Massage is said by some to be one of the most enjoyable and relaxing therapeutic massages available. For hundreds of years, hot stones have been used by all sorts of different cultures. Today we apply the same techniques for a wonderfully relaxing massage designed to work on muscle tension at the deepest level.
During a hot stones massage treatment, basalt or volcanic rocks are heated in water and then used on the skin, with a little massage oil, to perform a wonderfully deep and muscle-relieving massage. The heat of the stones allows the muscles to relax much more quickly than in a regular massage treatment. Stones will also be wrapped in towels and placed over energy centres on the body, to stimulate and realign the chakra system.
The deep relaxation and increased blood flow to the areas being worked not only accelerates the healing process but also creates a state of deep mental relaxation and wellbeing.

Face
The skin is very softly brushed and using gentle aromatherapy oils blended into a very light skin-sensitive moisturising cream, Swedish and Thai pressure points are used to awaken, enliven and utterly relax. Skin is nourished by increased blood-flow and toxic elimination.

Thai Yoga
A massage using manipulation and massage along Sen (energy) lines and pressure points as well as yoga-inspired pure stretch techniques. Total relaxation may be achieved from this floor-based treatment which is steeped in 2000 years of Indian and Thai tradition. Suitable for everyone, it works from the tips to the toes to the top of the head. The client is required to be fully clothed for this massage.

Aromatherapy
A thorough wellness consultation, followed by a hand-chosen and personally blended mix of warmed aromatherapy oils are massaged over the back, shoulders, legs and arms to soothe and relax. A wonderfully therapeutic way to wellbeing.

Indian Head Massage
An old favourite, Indian Head massage soothes, relaxes and invigorates the scalp and roots of the hair, stimulating blood-flow and feel-good hormones. Fully clothed and sitting on a chair, the top of the back, shoulders, neck and scalp area are all worked to maximum effect. A drop of very light oil may be used.
